New Year’s Message
‘He does marvellous things’
Dear Friends
New Year greetings to you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!
New Year brings always newness in our thinking and in our actions, which is unavoidable.
The journey of London Tamil Christian Congregation for more than four decades (1972-2019) has been constantly rejuvenated by our fellowship and friendship with one another in Christ, so every New Year is a marvellous gift from God. This year our theme will be from the book of Job: ‘He does… marvellous things’ (Job 5:9).
We can acknowledge in our life journey that He did marvellous things; He does marvellous things; He will do marvellous things. Because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrew 13:8).
Our great vision in our worshipping life in this New Year is to create our worship to accommodate young families so they can understand the worship meaningfully and so share Christian fellowship with us in the life of LTCC. So we have planned three ‘Family Services’ in 2020 which will be conducted in English.
Please make use of this great opportunity to bring and connect young family members whom you know, to be part of our worshipping life in the New Year.
There will be an opportunity for learning the Bible together by having a quiz in the worships twice during the year, which will enthuse our desire to learn the Bible privately as well for our spiritual growth. I do wish every family to make use of this opportunity to learn and reflect on Bible verses in your families with your children, as that will bring blessings to your family.
I do pray that this year may create some sacred spaces in our life together that will enhance connection with people and concentration on the word of God, for receiving God’s blessings in our families.
I wish you all a blessed and peaceful New Year 2020.
