Greetings from Putney Church

Dear Friends in Christ

Greetings to you all in the name of our Triune God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Grace, Mercy, and Peace be with you all.

We are joyfully approaching gathering together this Sunday at Rivercourt Methodist Church, Hammersmith, London, in person or online, to recollect our memories from the past 50 years. This will help us to dig into our previous life stories with our connections to the Putney Church which is now called London Tamil Christian Congregation. Generally, “Celebration” indicates lots of fun, fellowship and rejoicing in spirit about the past as well as maintaining enthusiasm in the present. But the main focus of “Celebrating the life of a Church” is to glorify the precious journey of God’s unshakable and never-ending faithfulness from the past to the present and to enter jubilantly into the future.

I invite you to come to the Church with your families and friends this Sunday to raise your voices to sing and offer your faithful prayers. At the same time, we appreciate the life and work of the Church and commit our partnership in the life of LTCC. We can enrich our own experience by sharing our stories of Christ in our lives, and so reveal the love of God together in our further journey as London Tamil Christian Congregation.

I do wish you all a blessed Putney Church Golden Jubilee year and I pray that we all lead a great model of the ecumenical journey and so proclaim God’s faithfulness and amazing love and Unity to the world Church in the present and next generation. Though we meet many challenges in our lives during this pandemic, may our Church’s life Celebration revive the right spirit in each of us to build God’s kingdom on earth.

Bless LTCC!

May we all have blessed and fruitful years ahead in the life and work of LTCC!

With blessings

Revd Jessie Anand
