God’s Grace is sufficient
Dear Friends
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Our hearts are full of thanks to God as we enter the beginning of the 48th year of LTCC. This month we give thanks to God for His abundant grace in our path of worshipping the Lord with perseverance. Paul used the word ‘grace’ often in his epistles and made people aware of how salvation is given by Jesus not only to Jews but also to Gentiles.
Paul claimed himself as the Apostle to Gentiles. In His epistles he affirmed that God had given him the responsibility to bring Gentiles into the relationship and fellowship of Christ. He explained that grace is a gift given to people who do not deserve it. He mentioned to his congregation at Ephesus, “By grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8). This verse clearly encourages us to understand the concept of Grace in our Christian journey.
We are all Gentiles. Grace is available to us as Christ’s unconditional love embraces everyone no matter who we are - regardless of our age, class, ethnicity, nationality, family status, or any other diverse and different status.
This month in our Central Worship in Hammersmith, we especially welcome and encourage our senior members to participate in the Worship Service. This is our senior Members’ annual special participatory Service.
As we know, many of our senior members need a little help from us to make a big difference in their lives so they can join our Worship. I request whoever can render your precious helping hands to bring our senior members into the worship, to do so. By doing so, you are exhibiting God’s Grace, and that will enable them to see God’s abundant Grace through you.
I do hope and pray a lot of connections can be established, particularly this month, between old and new members so as to have a wonderful Senior Members’ Participatory Gathering at our Central Worship.
May God bless you all.
In His Service
Revd Jessie Anand Minister, LTCC
